Arnold Studio is an architecture and interior design practice led by Simon Arnold and Anna Arnold. Founded in New York City in 2016 and now based in Austin, Texas, the studio brings a thoughtful, site-specific approach to every project. Our work is shaped by critical analysis of purpose, context, and craft, with a commitment to creating enduring spaces that reflect the lives and values of the people who inhabit them.
We work across a broad range of scales and project types—from finely detailed private homes to ambitious commercial environments. Whether designing from the ground up or transforming existing structures, we approach each project as a unique opportunity to integrate function, spatial richness, and environmental responsibility. Our portfolio includes the adaptive reuse of historic buildings, contemporary workplaces, and custom residential architecture.

As a PHIUS Certified Passive House Consultant, we help clients realize buildings that are future-ready—combining advanced energy performance with human-centered comfort and reduced ecological impact.
Anna Arnold
Anna has over 25 years of experience in interior design, specializing in creating timeless spaces that reflect her clients’ unique vision. Whether designing a single room or an entire home, Anna approaches each project with a focus on detail and thoughtful design, ensuring each space feels both functional and beautiful. Her ability to balance creativity with practicality makes her a trusted partner for every design endeavor.
Before teaming up with her husband, Anna operated her own interior design firm, Anna Robinson Design, for 20 years. She has also collaborated with respected firms such as Emily Summers Design in Dallas and Neal Thomas Enterprises in New York. With a strong foundation in both creative design and project management, Anna delivers exceptional results from start to finish.
Simon Arnold
Simon has extensive experience leading complex projects of varying scales and types in the US and internationally. He contributes a passion for design leadership, combined with a deep knowledge of construction technologies, project delivery, and sustainable building practices gleaned from a twenty-year career. Simon is a licensed architect in the states of New York, Texas, Utah, Vermont, and is a Certified Passive House Consultant. He is currently part-time faculty at Parsons School of Design.
Prior to founding Arnold Studio in 2016, Simon was Project Director at Leeser Architecture for ten years, leading notable projects including Museum of the Moving Image in Queens, New York City, a tri-climatic biosphere in Abu Dhabi, and many interiors for companies including Two Trees, Bond Collective, and Genius. Simon has also held design positions with industry-leading firms Diller Scofidio + Renfro and SOM.
We pride ourselves in forging working relationships based upon establishing an open dialogue from the earliest scope discussions, through project delivery, and long after, because we believe this brings out the best results for all partners in the project.
